The Machipanda Line connects to Zimbabwe and Zambia. Berth 11 handles heavy oils and can accommodate tankers up to 20,000 DWT. It is equipped with a pipeline system (4 x 12 inch for unloading, 6 x 8 inch for loading) with a capacity of 400 tonnes per hour.Berth 12, located further upstream, handles refined products such as diesel, petrol, aviation fuel (Jet A1 & Avgas) and fuel oil and can accommodate tankers up to 60,000 DWT. This terminal has an annual capacity of 2.5 million tonnes.
