SeGUrANçASubsequentemente, o Porto da Beira tem actualmente contrato com apenas uma empresa, a Fortiseguro, especializada em segurança marítima. o investimento contínuo em formação por parte da Fortiseguro garante que toda a sua força laboral está a par das práticas de segurança mais recentes e certificada em iSPS quando necessário.muitas outras melhorias foram implementadas em 2017, tal como a introdução do controlo de acesso biométrico para todos os trabalhadores portuários e os torniquetes de alta tecnologia que fornecem acesso à área do porto apenas quando a identidade foi verificada biometricamente.manter as fronteiras do porto em segurança é outra missão contínua para o Cdm, que foi ainda mais reforçada com a nova cerca de perímetro de 6km, instalada no final de 2016.o sistema de CCTv com infravermelhos de alta tecnologia que analisa todos os cantos do porto foi melhorado para a especificação mais recente em 2017, com base no investimento de 1,5 milhões de dólares realizado em 2014.este último aborda uma nova área de interesse para os especialistas na área: a cibersegurança. o Porto da Beira está mais à frente e já obteve uma avaliação independente dos seus sistemas. a ênfase na cibersegurança também é uma característica importante na implementação do novo Sistema operativo de Terminal naviS.a Cdm também se comprometeu a investir mais no seu próprio departamento de segurança, para garantir que nada fique para trás no seu objectivo de alcançar a segurança total. o resultado será um pacote de segurança completo e incomparável. laccordingly, the Port of Beira is now contracted with a single company – Fortiseguro – that specialises in maritime security. on-going investment in training by Fortiseguro ensures its entire workforce is up-to-date with the latest security practices, and iSPS certi ed where necessary.Many other improvements have been rolled-out in 2017, such as the introduction of biometric access control for all port workers, the high-tech turnstiles providing access to the port area only once identity has been biometrically veri ed.Keeping the port’s borders secure is another on-going mission for cdM, which has been further reinforced with the new 6km hardened and electri ed perimeter fence installed in late 2016.the high-tech infra-red cctV system that scrutinises every corner of the port has been upgraded to the latest speci cation during 2017, building on the US$1.5 million investment made in 2014.the latter touches on a new area of interest to experts in the eld; cybersecurity. the Port of Beira is ahead of the curve and has already had independent analysis of its systems undertaken. an emphasis on cybersecurity is also a major feature in the implementation of the new NaViS terminal operating System.cdM has also undertaken to invest further in its own security department to ensure that no stone is left unturned in pursuit of its 100% security goal. the result will be a complete security package that is second-to-none. l28 PERFIL E DIRECTÓRIO DO PORTO DA BEIRA 2019 | 2020
