The Truck Arrival Notification (TAN) system delivers real- time status reports on every truck, all the way from the mine in South Africa to offloading in the Port of Maputo. Gate access is automated, with electronic weighbridges and tallying, while MPDC’s payment system is fully digitised, delivering further efficiencies for customers.With two decades of far-sighted development under its belt, MPDC is continuing its drive to position Maputo as the benchmark port for southern Africa.
